If you live in the United States, Puerto Rico or Panama and want to be treated by Dr. Carolina Macareno in Medellín, we make sure everything is settled before you board the plane. You'll know what will be done, what it costs and when — all in writing.
What coordination costs
Coordination costs USD 550 and covers everything listed below: the virtual assessment, the exact written plan and price, reserving your dates, organizing the trip, and follow-up after you return.
Treatment is paid separately and directly to the clinic in Medellín, at the price stated in your written plan. We take no commission on the treatment.
If you already had a Second Look, the USD 147 you paid credits in full toward this.
If you have already decided to be treated in Medellín, you can book directly. If you still have questions, write to us and we will answer them before you pay anything.

You already decided to be treated in Medellín. Here you get your plan, your locked price, your dates reserved, a day-by-day itinerary and the airport transfer. It is not another consultation: it is you not having to solve anything yourself.

Virtual assessment with the doctor
We schedule a video call with Dr. Carolina Macareno. She reviews your case, your photos and your studies (X-rays or CBCT if you have them) and answers your questions.

Exact plan and price, in writing
You receive a detailed treatment plan with the exact price in dollars. No surprises and no hidden costs: what the document says is what you pay for the agreed treatment.

Reserving your slot
A reservation deposit secures your treatment dates on the clinic's calendar. If the in-person assessment shows you are not a candidate, the deposit is refunded according to our refund policy.

Your itinerary, day by day
You receive in writing what happens each day: when you arrive, what is done at each appointment and when you can fly home. With three lodging options already filtered by walking distance to the practice or by budget, so you can plan around your work and your family.

Treatment in Medellín
Dr. Carolina Macareno's clinic performs your treatment. It works with premium implant systems such as Straumann and Neodent as the house standard, and we accompany you throughout your stay.

Two video check-ups after you return
Fifteen and thirty days after you get home we do a video check-up. The biggest worry about dental tourism is being treated and then dropped, and that is exactly what does not happen here. If you need it, we prepare a written summary for your local dentist.

So there is no misunderstanding
The transfer covers one arrival and one departure. Travel between your lodging and your appointments is not included, but the practice is in El Poblado, a few minutes on foot from the options we recommend. If you still need them, tell us and they are quoted separately.
The WhatsApp line is a channel, not a companion. If your flight is delayed, if you cannot find the practice or a question comes up between appointments, you write and we answer, Monday through Saturday. It is not a person who goes with you to places.
